ok, now getting round to posting about something that happened, like last wed/thurs.
lol.
its like, tuesday now.
but its ok with me.
night cycling in odac! pity no serena, though. Then again, it was a good idea she chose not to come. Getting stuck somewhere due to slow speed doesn't sound fun at all.
Its quite fun, really, and i sure would want to do it again someday, but this time with more sleep beforehand and perhaps like lotsa tea/coffee/coke/etc.
and i was lated for it. ._." then i tio the bus with all the j2s together. Being the only j1 on board the bus, late when the had a note" dont be late" and me living in the east, i felt....well...ya...
turns out they just fixed the timing 1hr earlier then the event. LOL. 5.30 to 6.30.
just as well...=X
First we cycled on pavements, park connectors, blahblah.
Passing by the airport runway was glorious. Seeing gigantic planes up close, dark-silvery in the dark sky, taking off.... =P
seen 5 in all, i think.
Still, the first time you look at it, its breathtaking......
After that, we reach changi village for dinner. Since there wasn't enough time for a nice course, most people just bought a drink. I had biscuits. :3
Then we played dog and bone. My number was 5, and i got called first. Wasn't expecting to, so....heheh. Just as well the 5 on the opposing side like a bit stunned as well, cus after i took the bone, she touch me then not counted liao, with me stoning there and not running back.
It was funny to watch the guys running around for the bone. =#
and my group got first, so we got a 1.5 litre bottle of ...of......lets see.100plus?(forgot) to drink. Definitely some isotonic drink.
Onward with cycling.
anyway, there was another break at a bus stop, to prepare for moving from the pavement to the roads. We had 2 escorts. That was the 2 "free taxis" the seniors were talking about.....=X
....i had been wondering what were they talking about up to the point......they pick up injured/students that are not feeling well....around then, they mentioned something about no more space in the vans the teachers were driving, due to the casualties inside. =X so they were warning us not to get injured.
first time in my life cycling on the road....it looks cool, like 6x-7x students on bikes.
got sleepy around 11x-12x...sad
Then it was just trying to keep awake while cycling lol. Easy enough. You dont just lose track cycling on the road with cars zooming around, cos the car will always win. Just that.....it doesn't feel all that nice trying to keep awake, but it was thrilling at the same time.
By the time we stopped at a petrol station, i was really really sleepy. I stayed awake long enough to go toilet, then slept with my bag as a pillow. Dunno i slept for how long tho. Apparently, due to all that delays (and thus, extra breaks, we had not enough time to cycle back using the same path we came from) and i wonder, how they managed to let the people at the patrol station agree to us parking out bicycles and resting there....true, it wasnt a busy hour. but still....
The teachers and the rice com (i think) just spent time coming up with a new route they didnt test, and took quite long over that. However, it really was much shorter, as the cycling time was much quicker....traffic was getting heavier then. And all i was thinking off by then was to reach east coast park just so i could doze.
i had crashed into the kerb plently of times as i was half-asleep, and "crash" into the person infront of me for the same reason by then.
on the pavement at east coast park, i crashed by cycling off the pavement. Unhurt, but the bicycle chain went off....... Wan feng got her hands dirty (again) just to fix the chain back! That was so nice of her, especially since she was her hands already...i guessed that she got it dirty when she fixed someone else's chain, but that was really nice.
i was about to sleep after we reached the bicycle-rent stall, but some seniors wanted to go bedok jetty.....So off we went. There was a surprising number of ppl there, and it looked beautiful, but all i wanted was to sleep then. was thinking that i could admire the view later, but, a huge wind suddenly sprang up, and we had to turn back. In the end, we parked near macdonalds and slept/ate breakfast there.
After that was just return bike/take photos/debrief.

i was waiting outside city hall mrt around 7pm, during tue(e learning day) and i only managed to squeeze into the mrt on the 3rd train.
There was this large guy who probably waited more then that.
No wonder ppl take private transport sooo much.
Yesterday, I saw a sleeping butterfly. As far as I'm concerned , the butterfly is mid-sized. Smaller then those large brightly coloured butterflies flitting around the island, and larger then the common small purple variety. I figured it was sleeping as it didn't move, its wings were tightly closed and it didn't drift off when I leaned close to it.
Then i noticed the butterfly's tongue was slowly unfurling. [lol, guess I was wrong it was asleep after all] Next, the butterfly's tongue suddenly curled up again, followed by slowing unfurling partly, back, rinse, repeat.
It was just the butterfly breathing. I never knew it would do that....and strangely, it was cute doing that.
I'm going to die for maths. I don't understand a word of what my teacher said. He's a nice guy and all, but..and i never fail to spill something during chemistry practicals.

or i just got really lucky.
The PE teacher called 3.2km a 'short run' If so, i dunno what is a long run lo.. ._. Still it was quite fun as i was kinda slacking at the back and jumping around and not seriously running through the whole distance. That and the cool weather. :P
still thinking of the atmosphere i felt on fri....i hope i'll always remember it..
here's to hoping that 2008 would be a better yr for us all.^^

Its my first time seeing everyone.....think i was the only one to do that...or was there others too?I was just wondering around trying to find any ohanians, then saw owllie in the ohana tee. XD
toti-chan's greeting for kaka was a whack. At the ntuc.. lol. for tottochan23....and kakachan32...XD
then when we walked to the bus stop, some of us where faster then others....then 358 happened to be waiting there already..and omt, toti-bro..(i think ivan) and me managed to get on board...but the rest.....nothing but wait for the next bus.....
OM told icy to guard the fridge...but their 'suspicious behaviour' later on got toti's attention..she was like
'i wouldnt have wanted to look if (om) wasnt acting suspicious..' and icy was just standing in a corner...
Mel later went to rent the bbq pit. then er..forgot what happened execpt that sg and me decided to get picopico hammers to whack....mager. one hammer broke right after that. XD
then mel got the bbq fire going, even though it was drizzling..toti and me went to poke satay sticks in all the food that can be poked...the sausages, fishball, crabmeat...
Owllie later came with a cup of what she called her "tea". We all tried to take a peek. The stuff was murky green with a white lump floating in it......so we were all o.O ...
Owl then said something about wishing she dint take it out so soon..It turned out that she had a can of powdered wasabi, some of it she used to make her "tea" and she wanted to pour it on the chicken wings. lol.
the movie was glitched, so it kinda "lagged" (or whatever its called) and omt wanted to ktv.....so rainie searched for the nearest place..loyang something..
Even though we wouldnt be able to make use of the total amount of time because the ktv closes..at ...i think 3am..but we didnt really care. At the shopping mall, we went round trying to get in but failed. Even went to the extent that the ktv "scammed us to come here", because all the doors were locked. We eventually managed to get in through a side door..
At the ktv, we eventually changed rooms cos the later batch of ohanians that came in made the ktv room quite squashed..11 of us where there...and the remote didnt seem to work properly...kaka and me dunno how to sing...so we didnt sing...just here to watch...:P
all the others did, though. toti chan was saying that icy rarely went to ktw with the omt...and should go more often..^^
After we left, a bunch of us (icy, kaka, mager, sg and me, i think) walked backed to the chalet. walkwalkwalkwalkwalkwalkwalk....and found then watching coach carter....
._. i went to slp. lol. not that i could realli sleep..because i keep drifting awake..
In the end ivan and dunno who else realli dint sleep...
